Singapore, May 13, 2009 – Infocomm Asia Holdings (“IAHGames”), a major online games publisher and operator in South East Asia, has reached yet another corporate milestone by achieving the ISO 9001:2000 certification for “Distribution and Operation of Online Games”. This award specifically focuses on Continuous Improvement and Customer Focus, making IAHGames one of the first online games companies in the world to get it.

Awarded by TÜV SÜD PSB Pte Ltd, it certifies that IAHGames has adopted world-class standards in distributing and operating online games, recognizing the company’s strong emphasis in providing excellent customer service.

The ISO certification was achieved after IAHGames recorded another milestone in its financial performance, surpassing its S$20 million revenue target to hit S$21 million for 2008 – a seven-fold jump from its revenue of S$2.6 million in 2007. It has also grown its database to more than 20 million gamers in the region, and expects this uptrend to continue with the doubling of its revenue to S$40 million by the end of 2009.

Said Mr. Roland Ong, Chief Executive Officer of IAHGames, “The ISO achievement certifies that we have formalized our business processes being applied to international standards, and enable us to propagate the same level of quality services across our affiliated regional offices in Indonesia, Hong Kong and Thailand.  This once again reflects our unwavering commitment to provide world-class standards of service, offer the best to our customers and gamers, and strengthen our positioning as the leading dominant player in the South East Asian online games arena. Hence, we are well poised to attract other publishers and developers to distribute new games to the region, further propagate the continued success we have been enjoying in the past few years, and more importantly, enhance our customers’ gaming experience in the region.”

The online games market has been perceived as one of the more resilient industries despite the current economic turmoil. It is expected to be a major contributor to the global video games market, and swell to a US$50-billion industry in the next two years. China’s online games industry is expected to grow to US$2.67 billion as early as 2010. Currently, online gaming in South East Asia is said to be collectively worth US$500 million.

Added Mr. Ong, “We are on track to achieve our business objectives despite the volatile world economy, and we see no slowdown in our business. IAHGames continues to grow its games portfolio and global partners to bring an increasing line-up of blockbuster games to delight the millions of users in the region.”

IAHGames currently distributes four top-rated massively multiplayer online role-playing games, including Granado Espada, Dragonica (closed beta test), and EA SPORTS™ FIFA Online 2, as well as award-winning console games such as Grand Theft Auto IV and Midnight Club: Los Angeles in Singapore and the South East Asian region. Other new games in the pipeline include the multiplayer version of NBA® 2K9 and the final release of Dragonica.
