An Unforgettable X'Mas in 2010

It’s a party like no other, and it’s a party you wouldn’t have wanted to miss…

Set on the 10th December last year, our preparation team was crazily stressed-out about getting ready for our annual Christmas bash. With just weeks to prepare and the memory of 2009’s awesome party looming over us, the benchmark set for this year was outrageously absurd!

“So what can we expect?” was the challenge posed to the team by everyone else, and the team gladly delivered.

Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature and basked in the dim romantic moonlight of the evening, Middle Rock Bar at Bishan Park (Singapore) was our venue for the great party, and we were all blown away by the beautiful setting of this bar and outdoor eatery.

With plenty of food to kick-start the night and our very own emcee hosting the festivities, we quickly chose our best tables. IAHGames parties have always been “free-flow-buffet-and-drink-all-you-can” affairs, and we were loosening up and having heart-to-heart chats after just a few drinks. (Disclaimer: We do not encourage excessive alcohol intake!)

With a live band, unlimited drink and sumptuous food, great conversations and ideas were exchanged about upcoming events and marketing strategies. Imaginations ran wild. Here at IAHGames, gaming IS work (don’t you envy us??) – we just can’t stop talking about it anytime, anywhere!

As in previous years, we had our very own, in-house Star Awards that never failed to amaze the crowd with its unconventional categories and actual winners! Included were Dr. Google, The Party Animal, The Loch Ness Creature, The Survivor, and The Bottomless Pit. Strange names, but that’s how our creativity rolls.

When it’s finally time for the grand finale – the lucky draw, no reminders were needed! We all held our breaths and camped near to the stage for our names to be called. With prizes like the Sony Playstation 3 Slim, Xbox360 Kinect and 2 Apple iPad Wifi 16GB, everybody wanted a share of the loot!

The memorable night concluded with our own girl band duo performing an impromptu version of “Zombie” from The Cranberries!

Whoot! What an evening of surprises, celebration and fun!
